Evelyn is survived by her loving family, daughter Sandra (Hank) Gawenda; grandson Michael Gawenda; great grandchildren Grace and Nathan Gawenda and numerous nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Schoultz, grandson Robert Gawenda; parents, Ray and Leola (nee Annis) Evans and 6 brothers and 5 sisters.

2 Kenneth Reimers, 63, of Freeport died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. He was born on April 29, 1946, in Gary, Ind., the son of Arthur and Virginia (Spiker) Reimers. Kenneth was united in marriage to Mary LaBudde on March 1, 1969, in Forreston. Mr. Reimers was employed as a truck driver by Del Monte Foods. While living in Oklahoma he served as a policeman, fireman and ambulance driver, helping others. Mr. Reimers served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Eastgate Community Church, Steel Witness Motorcycle Club and Gold Wing Motorcycle Club. He loved to ride his motorcycle, spend time with his family, play cards, hunt and take his grandsons fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, John; his daughter, Annette; his brother, Darrell; and his eight grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Eastgate Community Church in Freeport with the Rev. Steve Barr, pastor, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his memory. 1 Lorraine Mary Pink was a Lorraine Studio. Lorraine Mary Gilbert, age 98, of Joliet, IL, passed away, Thursday, August 10, 2017, in Grand Rapids, MN, at the Manor House Memory Care surrounded by family.
Lorraine was born in 1919 in Joliet, IL, the only child to Rosella and George Pink. Both Rosella and George passed away within a year of each other when Lorraine was about 4. Rosella's sister, Josephine and her husband Carl Fellrath adopted Lorraine when she was 8. Lorraine was married to Bill Gilbert in 1938 and together they had five children, Lorraine, Charles, John, Clayton, and Bill.
She started coloring pictures for a photographer in Joliet, and then started taking pictures in her living room. After finding great success in taking pictures, Lorraine and Bill opened Lorraine Studio on Jefferson Street. They later purchased the building and opened up a cake, candy, and wedding store; a one stop shop widely known as "Lorraines". She moved to Grand Rapids in 2014. Lorraine and Bill were great card players, especially euchre and some poker.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and son, John Gilbert.
She is survived by daughter, Lorraine Fothergill (Barney) Penning of Grand Rapids, MN; sons, Charles (Tyra Mae) Gilbert of San Bernardino, CA; William (Susan) Gilbert of Dwight, IL; Clayton Gilbert of Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Debby (Todd) Godfrey, Pam (Merv) Bonham, Gail (Fred) Anthony, Laura (Mike) Stupar, Gordon (Jennifer) Fothergill, Charles Gilbert, Bruce Gilbert, Jennifer Gilbert, Nicole Gilbert, Clayton Gilbert, Krisy Gilbert, Todd (Kim) Behnke; many great and great-great grandchildren.
Lorraine's family would like to thank the staff of the Manor House Memory Care for the loving care they showed Lorraine.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16th from 5:00 PM until the 6:00 PM Funeral Service at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids. Rev. Greg DeMuth will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
Arrangements are with Rowe Funeral Home of Grand Rapids, MN.
