Joan Evelyn Rivard was born on 6 October 1941 in Hennepin County, Minnesota.¹ She died in January 1987, at age 45.

Gerald (Jack) Robert Rivard was born on 8 June 1929 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.^1,2 He died on 5 September 1992, at age 63, in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.² He was buried in Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan, Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Gerald (Jack) Robert Rivard was an Owner-Operator Modern Machinery Movers.² Jack R. Rivard, 63, of Yuma, Ariz., owner of the former Modern Machinery Movers, died Saturday evening, Sept. 5, 1992, shortly after being taken to Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He died of an apparent heart attack.

He was born June 8, 1929, in Minneapolis, Minn. son of the late Ambrose and Geraldine Odett Rivard.

He was married to the former Hildegard Klotz of Germany. The family came to Sheboygan in June 1969 and operated the Modern Machinery Movers. Jack had resided in the western United States since 1983.

Mr. Rivard was a member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers Union, the Masonic Temple in Minneapolis, Elks Lodge 476 in Yuma, Ariz., and the VFW in California. He was a former member of the Wolf Olson Post 1230, here in Sheboygan. Jack was a pilot and enjoyed flying his single-engine aircraft.

Survivors include three daughters and son-in-law; Judith and Ken Salzwedel, Kohler; Jennifer Rivard, Sheboygan; and Joline Rivard, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Debbie Rivard, of Peachtree, Ga.; six grandchildren. Becky and Corrina Mueller, Amee Poth, Jesse Salzwedel, and Justin and Tyler Rivard; a great-granddaughter, Mariah Bledsoe; and two sisters, Jan (Phil) Gordon and Jeannine Quigg, all of Bloomington, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Jacqueline; and a sister Joan Paqulos and a grandson, Matthew Rivard.

A memorial service wil be held Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. Mark Petersen, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will take place in the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at Ballhorn from 4 p.m. on Wednesday, until time of the sevices.

A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Pearl Adila Nerdahl was born on 25 September 1899 in South Dakota. She and Russell Lorimer Bourgerie were married on 7 March 1945 in Cook County, Illinois. She died on 3 June 1969, at age 69, in Hennepin County, Minnesota. She was buried on 6 June 1969 in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.

Wilma Adeline Wood was born about 1894 in Minnesota.² She died on 25 August 1946 in Ramsey County, Minnesota.¹
