Mr. Garrison was born in Delaware, N.J., a son of the late Amos and Anna Ward Garrison. He moved to Phillipsburg 37 years ago from Delaware.

He retired Oct. 1, 1938, from the Ingersoll-Rand Co., where he was a storeroom clerk in the Cameron Pump Division for 16 years. Before that he was employed as a clerk with the Pennsylvania Railroads.

He was a veteran of World War I and served with the Army overseas. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg and B. J. Donovon Post 203, American Legion, Phillipsburg.

He is survived by his widow, the former Elizabeth Beam; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Read Sr., Broadway; Mrs. Richard Kirkendall Jr., Phillipsburg, and Miss Ellen Garrison, at home; two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Garrison, Washington, and Mrs. Samuel Marsh, Stroudsburg, and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere.

Mrs. Lucy E. Weaver, 49, wife of William H. Weaver, 810 Monroe St., Stroudsburg, died suddenty 12:45 a.m. yesterday in her home, following a brief illness.

She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos Garrison, Delaware, N.J. and together with her family moved to Stroudsburg from Portland 21 years ago.

Surviving are her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Thomas Bonser and Mrs. Allen McAllister, Stroudsburg; Virginia, Dorothy, Joyce and Elizabeth, at home; two sisters, Elizabeth Garrison, Washington, N.J., and Mrs. Samuel Marsh, Stroudsburg; two brothers, Ward and John Garrison, both of Phillipsburg, N.J., and a grandchild.

Funeral 2 p.m. Friday from Dunkelberger and Westbrook funeral home, Broad St., Stroudsburg, with Rev. John Bellingham officiating. Interment in Delaware, N.J.
