He was a meat cutter, retiring in 1980 from the Sanitary Food Market, Bethlehem.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George J. and Miriam (Kohler) Fahringer.
He was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors: Wife; son, Bruce A. of Bath; daughter, Marlene F. Schreck of Bethlehem; brother, Russell K. of Leesburg, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Jerome Phillips and Mrs. George Kinsell, both of Allenstown, and four grandchildren.
