3 She died on 15 February 2016, at age 81.

2 Adelaide (Thorkilsen) Mandich 81, Abrams went home to be with her Lord on Monday February 15, 2016. On November 5, 1955 Adelaide married Thomas Mandich in Green Bay. Mom's greatest attribute was the way she made a house a home with her cooking. Our home always had the aroma of something cooking. It warmed the house and our hearts. Her children always came home after school to a home filled with the aroma of her home made cooking. Her love for us was displayed with attention to her homemade farmstead meals that would please a king. Most amazing is she never took a break from it and the family alsways preferred her cooking to a restaurant meal. Other favorite memories are her Partytime Cookbook. One could hold it close to you and feel a part of her radiating from its pages. Her favorite things to do were crafting, playing board/card games, reading mystery novels and taking trips to Madison with her daughters. She and Tom had a wonderful retirement living in Port Isabel Texas in the winters and Holtwood Park in the summers until 2014 when they came back permanently to Oconto. Everyone who knew her and her sweet spirit will sadly miss her. She is survived by her husband of 60 plus years, Thomas R. Mandich. Children include, Matthew (Aimee) Mandich, Gail (Dan) Wautlet, Timothy (Janice) Mandich, Donna (Ricky) Lardinois, Jessica Mandich, Daniel MAndich and Jennifer MAndich; grandchildren include MArie MAndich,Nathan MAndich, Luke Wautlet, Jon Wautlet, Anne Mandich, Rebecca Mandich, Zachary Mandich, Jacob Mandich, Stephanie Janssen and Andrew Lartinois. Other family members include Ron & Mary Anne Mandich, Gerrie Mandich and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, John Thorkilsen and her beloved Mother-in-law Martha Mandich (Bredell) and Brother-in-law Steve Mandich. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9-11:30 am Friday at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto. Memorial Service 11:30 am Friday February 19, 2016 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Don Olson officiating. Please visit www.chodescharapata.com to express online condolences.
