Mr. Davidson was born in Davenport.
He married Theda Cork in Rock Island.
He was a self-employed as a furniture mover. He also worked for Pallamar Laundry in San Diego. When in Rock Island he worked for Weyerhauser and Denkmann.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, William and Robert, both of San Diego, a daughter, Doris Gimmes, San Diego; 9 grandchildren; two brothers, William T., Kansas City, Kan., and Richard A., San Diego; and four sisters, Dorothy Grubaugh, Rock Island, Pearl E. Stickel, Moline, Florence Olson, San Diego, and Ruth Bradley, Portersville, Calif.; and his mother, Frances Davidson, Portersville.
