Harvey William Fredrick Thorman was also known as Harvey (Jr.) Thorman.2,1 US Army- WWII- 13 Sep 1944- 13 Jan 1946.5,6 He was a Truck Driver- Motorcar Trucking.5 Harvey Thorman Jr., 73, formerly of Armada, died Monday, Feb. 20, 1995.

He was born Oct. 15, 1921 in Romeo, the son of Harvey and Alice Carey Thorman. He married Alice Cornell Nov. 2, 1940 in Oxford. She died in 1986.

He served with the U.S. Army overseas during World War II. He wa a truck driver for 32 years with Motorcar Trucking from where he retired. He was a member of ther Berville VFW Post 203.

He is survived by four sons, William A. (Laurabel), Ronald H. (Sandy) of Emmett, Thomas (Judy) of Richmond and Timothy H.;
four daughters, Kathleen (Steve) Docherty of Romeo, Barbara (Carl) Yoder of Almont, Janice Foshia of Algonac and Candy Blankenship of Richmond, 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisterrs, Beverly Ratliff of Utica,
Florence Baker of Las Vegas, Nev. and Donna Rick of Arizona.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Roth-Muir Funeral Home, Romeo, with the Rev. Robert D. Chapman of the Avoca United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Bruce-Armada Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas Lynn Thorman of Richmond passed away at the age of 70 years 7 months and 17 days on Sunday November 1, 2015, at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mt. Clemens. He was born March 15, 1945, in Almont the son of the late Harvey and Alice (Cornell) Thorman.

His marriage to Judith Paletti was October 21, 1989, in St. Clair Shores.

Thomas served his country with the United States Army while stationed in Germany. He was employed by General Motors, Pontiac for 42 years until his retirement in 2003. His special hobby was making wooden toys for children and donating them.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2015, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Elder Joanne Dalton of Community of Christ Church, Richmond, will officiate.

Burial will be in Bruce Armada Cemetery, Bruce Township.
