Funeral service for Jack Delmer Pearson of 658 Broadway, who died Sunday was held Wednesday afternoon at the H. A. Ostrander and Son Funeral Home. Rev. S.Gibson conducted the service. Ron Charters sang a solo "In the Garden", accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Helen Russell.

Pallbearers were Ronald Bieckx, Jack Hoffman, Lanny Cowell , Bob Pieters, Colin Ridgwell and Malcolm Faina.

Interment was in Aylmer Cemetery.

CORNFORTH - PEARSON

The marriage of Violet May Pearson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. Pearson of 304 King Street West Ingersoll, Ontario and David Lloyd George Cornforth, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Cornforth, John Street, Woodstock, Ontario, was solemnized Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the rectory of Old St. Paul's Church, Woodstock, by Rev. John Morris. The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a white frock with a corsage of red roses. She was attended by Miss Christine Cornorth, sister of the bridegroom who wore a pink dress with a corsage of yellow roses. The best man was Donald McKay of Woodstock, Ontario. A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cornforth, 815 John St., Woodstock. The bride's mother wore a brown and flowered silk jersey dress with a corsage of roses and the bridegrooms mother was in blue silk jersey with a corsage of white roses. Later, the couple left on a trip to Buffalo New York and on their retum will reside in Ingersoll. For travelling the bride wore a grey suit with brown accessories and a corsage of red roses.
