5,6 Del and Becky had been living in Windsor. Del had a good job at the car factory in Detroit. In 1938 when his mother became ill, Dell brought his family back to Corinth area and looked after his parents. While Dell worked in the factory, Becky ran a boarding house in Windsor as well.
LOCAL COUPLE CELEBRATE FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY.
Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Pearson of 658 Broadway St. Tillsonburg, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on October 9 1973. The couple were honoured at a surprise dinner held by the family at their residence. The former Rebecca Brinn and Mr. Pearson were united in marriage on october 9 1923, at the Methodist Church in Windsor. They lived in Windsor and Corinth before coming to Tillsonburg in 1942. The couple had three children, one daughter, Mrs. Freda Norcross of Mississauga. and two sons, Wilfred and Jack Pearson both of Tillsonburg. Jack Pearson passed away in March 1969. There were also five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Pearson are enjoying good health and have been motoring through parts of Ontario and New York State. While in Mississauga, Rev, and Mrs. Ken Norcross had friends in to further honour the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Pearson voice their many thanks to their family and friends for helping make the occasion a memorable one.

OBITUARY DELMER PEARSON
Delmer Pearson of the Maple Manor Nursing Home Tillsonburg, formerly of 658 Broadway, died at the home on Friday Oct 19 1990. He was 93. Mr. Pearson was born at Corinth Sept 5 1897 the son of the late John Pearson and the former Lena Thompson. Predeceased by his wife the former Rebecca Brinn in 1980. Survived by one daughter Freda Norcross and her husband Rev. Kenneth Norcross of Boston; one son, Wilfred and his wife Patricia of Tillsonburg; four grandchildren and seven ggrandchildren; one sister Hazel Tribe of Galt. Predeceased by one son Jack in 1969; one grandson Bradford Pearson in 1963; three brothers, Ithmer, Mahlon and Lloyd. Rested at the Ostrander Funeral Home Tillsonburg where service was held Monday at 1 p.m. conducted by Pastor Peter Black of the Bethel Temple Tillsonburg. Interment in Aylmer Cemetery.

Mrs. Delmer Pearson of 658 Broadway, Tillsonburg passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday October 11,1980, in her 76th year. Born in Vienna, October 31 1904, she was a daughter of the late John Brinn and the former Emeline Ostrander. Surviving, besides her husband, are one daughter Mrs. (Rev) Kenneth (Freda) Norcross of Boston; one son, Wilfred Pearson of Tillsonburg; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and one brother Skean Brinn of Port Burwell. She was predeceased by a son Jack Pearson in 1969, by a grandson Bradford Pearson in 1963, and by several brothers and sisters. Interment Aylmer Cemetery.

PETER D. MITTS DIED SUDDENLY AT CORINTH
Was Cutting Wood Day before his Death. Born in South Dorchester.
Peter D. Mitts a well known resident of the Corinth district, died suddenly at his home one mile south of Corinth village, early Friday morning December 23rd. Mr. Mitts was engaged in cutting wood in the bush on Wednesday and was apparently in good health. He was taken suddenly ill Thursday morning. Deceased was in his 76th year and was born in south Dorchester, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mitts. Forty-eight years ago he married Cerinda Pearson of Corinth . For a few years they lived at Springfield and for 37 years at the home where Mr. Mitts died. He was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters and a member of the Latter Day Saints Church. He leaves many friends to mourn his sudde n demise.
Surviving are his wife; three sons and two daughters; Mahlon of Frogmore; Bert of Straffordville; Russel at home; Mrs . Cecil Thompson, Corinth and Mrs. Alex Thurlby of Otterville. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
The funeral Service was held at the home on Monday December 26th at 2 P.M. and was in charge of Clarence LaMore of Courtland and Edward Gilmore of Houghton. Interment took place in the Richmond Cemetery.

OBIT Mrs. Flossie Chilcott
Mrs. Flossie May Chilcott of R.R.4 Corinth died at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday March 5th. She was seventy- seven years of age.
Born in Bayham Township on October 27 1897, she was the daughter of the late Peter Mitts and Cerinda Pearson.
She is survived by her husband John Chilcott; one son, Roy Thompson of Springfield; two brothers, Mahlon Mitts of Frogmore and Russell Mitts of Corinth; four grandchildren, Cheryl Peters of Aylmer, Earl Thompson of Galt, Valerie Kipp of Camp Borden and Ramona Vinnai of Straffordville and six great grandchildren.
Funeral was held at H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8th conducted by Mrs. R. H. Gillam of People's Revival Church, Ingersoll.
Pallbearers were George Mitts, Emerson Beemer, Raymond Mitts, Jim Pearson, Ted Pearson and Rich Peters.
Burial was in Richmond Cemetery.

TILSONBURG Sept 25 - A resident of Tillsonburg for the past 20 years Cecil Thompson died on Thursday in his 57th year . He had spent his entire life in this town and in the Corinth district and had followed the occupation of carpenter . He was a member of the United Church.
His survivors include two sons at Corinth; two sisters, Mrs . Dan Pearson of Corinth; Mrs. William Fowler, Delaware; and six brothers, William of Amherstburg; Dan of Deleware; Jesse, Dorchester Station; George E. and Emerson, of Aylmer ; and Clarence of Orwell.
The body is at rest at the H. A. Ostrander Funeral Home here and the service will be held there on Monday at 2 pm. In terment will be in Aylmer Cemetery.

RUSSEL D. MITTS
Russel D. Mitts of R.R.#4 Aylmer, passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday January 18 1985 in his 67th year.
Born in Bayham Township September 13, 1918, he was a son of the late Peter Mitts and the former Cerinda Pearson. He was a section man for the CNR. Mr. Mitts was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters, Court Bright, Vienna No 1 090 Tillsonburg, and of Ark Lodge No. 404 IOOF Springfield.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Lonsbary, one daughter, Mrs. Allan (Sandra) Sage of R.R.#4 Aylmer; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Thurlby and Mrs. Flossie Chilcott.
Interment in Richmond Cemetery.
