Mrs. Nystrom was a native of Harrison Township, Michigan and a homemaker. She was a member of Benn's United Methodist Church, Sunday School teacher of Contemporary Christian Fellowship Class, Girl Scout Leader of Troops 414 and 576 both of Carrolton, president, Benn's United Methodist Women's Day Circle and a member of the Carrolton Woman's Club.

Survivors include: a husband, Robert Stagg, Carrolton, three daughters, Jesse Rebecca Stagg, Carmen Paige Stagg, and Margaret Stacey Stagg, all of Carrolton; a father, Harold Kenneth Nystrom; a mother Beryl Goddard Nystrom, both of Hampton; three sisters, Toni N. Diaz, Pembroke Pines, Fl, Teresa Nystrom, Painter, Va, Peggy N. Benyo, Lee's Summit, Mo; one brother, Harold K. Nystrom Jr., Windsor; maternal grandmother, Minnie H. Goddard and paternal grandfather, Ben Nystrom, both of Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 1991 at Benn's United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Robert Edwards. Burial was private.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Isle of Wight County Memorial Chairman; PO Box 627, Smithfield, Va. 23430.

Garry Jenkins, 74, of Fort Dodge, died August 19, 2006 at Tompkins Memorial Health Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Gunderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Trembly officiating. Entombment will be held in North Lawn Mausoleum. Full military honors will be presented by the VFW Post 1856. Visitation will be held from 4- 7p.m. Wednesday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Home on military leave, Garry married Earlene Lawson at the Dayton Methodist Church in 1951. He served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1955. The couple made their home in Gowrie until 1958 when they moved to Fort Dodge. Garry was employed for Celotex for 36 years. Garry loved spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren?s sporting events. He will be remembered by his great senseof humor, his impeccable lawn and solving the world?s problems over a cup of coffee with friends. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
