4 Raymond T. Graybill, 85, Cando, and formerly of Bisbee, N.D., died Sunday, Oct. 1, 1989, in Resthaven Health Care Center, Cando, where he had lived since July.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Bisbee Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday in the Dunnigan Dix Funeral Home, Cando.
Raymond Graybill was born Dec. 18, 1903, the son of Frank and Myrtle Graybill, in Hansboro, N.D., where he grew up. He married Alta Strawn June 28, 1925, in Calvin, N.D., After their marriage, the couple lived near St. John, N.D.. She died in 1937. He married Alice Bursinger June 26, 1941, in Rolla, N.D.. They farmed near St. John until moving to Bisbee in 1944. In 1951, he began working for C.A. Simpson and Son Well Drilling Co., Bisbee, until retiring in the late 1960's.
Survivors are his wife, Alice, Bisbee; son, Ray, Seattle, Wash.; stepson, Charles Graybill, Rolla; stepdaughter, Dolores Geisen, Bisbee, Betty Schwan, Santa Rosa, Calif., Joan Munson, Cannon Falls, Minn., and Marjorie Granholt, Walcott, N.D.; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Roy, Seattle; sisters, Elsie Glessner, Waterloo, Iowa, and Clara Barker; Seattle, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters, and two brothers.
