Helen Dutton was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodstock and as a child had attended Sunday School at the East End Baptist Mission which was next door to the Dutton home. She attended Chapel Public School and later Woodstock Collegiate. After her father's death, she and her mother moved into an apartment. She worked for many years for Harvey Woods. Helen sang in Junior Choir, later in the church choir and helped with the Junior Choir, was active in the Mission Circle and other women's groups. She acted for many years as the Church representative for the Canadian Baptist magazine, a position she took over from her mother. Helen was an avid gardener and belonged to the Horticulture Society. She enjoyed travel and had been on many trips, one in the 1960's to the west when she visited her birthplace in SK.

William Bruce (Bill) Dutton was a Pharmacist. Bill Dutton attended First Baptist Church in Woodstock and as a young person attended Sunday School at the East End Mission. After his marriage he attended Central United Church. He served in the Air Force in WWII and was wounded in Italy in 1944. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and joined the Rotary Club in 1961, serving as President in 1978/79. He was a Pharmacist for many years at Clark Murray Pharmacy, then at the Oxford Regional Centre. He was in Municipal Politics for 17 years as a City Councilor and as Mayor of Woodstock 1963/65, also serving as County Councilor and was the City of Woodstock Representative on the committee that reconstructed Oxford County in 1975. He was the driving force behind the founding of the United Way in Woodstock.
