John Lawrence Goodsell, Sr. 62, of Conway, departed this life, Monday, January 23, 2012. He was born on April 19, 1949, in Protem, Missouri. John was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Abner and Martha Faye (Chapman) Goodsell, one sister, Peggy Sue Bishop, two brothers-in-law, Ron Kellet and Ken Bishop and one grandson Aaron Emmons.

Survivors include his wife Tracy of Conway; three daughters, April Comans and husband Billy (Son -in-law) of Vicksburg, MS, Tammy Glasby and husband Jeff of Tahelqual, OK and Jennifer Steed and husband David of Conway; two sons, John Goodsell Jr. and wife Alesha of Ash Grove, MO and Johnny Metzger (Bubba) and wife Paula of Conway. Also surviving are his sister LaVone Kellet of Protem, MO; two brothers Don Goodsell and wife Betty of Slater, MO and Richard Goodsell and wife Marsha of Protem,MO; ten grandchildren, one grandchild to arrive in June and his first great grandchild to arrive in August.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 26 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery with Chancy Dyson, Shane Dyson, Jason Dyson, Cody Denton, Eddie Guntley and Ronnie Kellet, Jr. carrying him to his final rest. Honorary pallbearers are, Howard Erwin, Randy Hull, Cooper Goodsell, Jim West, Jesse Rice, Cody Rice, Brian Kellet and Brandon Kellet. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 25, at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Petty Sue (Goodsell-Gimlin) Bishop, 60, were held Saturday,Jan. 26, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Salem General Baptist Church with Ron Pinckney and Don Yarger officiating. Burial was in Rhodes Cemetery.
Mrs. Bishop died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008. She was born Sept. 25, 1947, the daughter of Francis and Faye (Chapman) Goodsell. She and W. Gary Gimlin were married in 1965. She married Kenneth Bishop Jan. 29, 1989.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by one daughter, Tisha Lynn (Gimlin) Cooper and her husband, Alan; one granddaughter, Brittney Cooper; her mother, Faye Goodsell; one sister, Von Kellet; and three brothers, John Goodsell, Don Goodsell and Richard Goodsell.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, W. Gary Gimlin in 1973, and her father, Francis Goodsell in 2002.
