Abraham Roy Wintermute was born on 4 February 1886 in Dereham Township, Oxford, Ontario, Canada. He and Grace Priscilla Blunden were married on 5 July 1910 in Fort William, Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada. He died on 10 March 1948, at age 62, in St. Thomas, Yarmouth, Elgin, Ontario, Canada. He was buried in St. Thomas West Avenue Cemetery (Section OSE), St. Thomas, Yarmouth Twp., Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada.

5 July 1910 at Fort William, ON to Grace Priscilla Blundon who was born on 20 October 1888 in London England. She was the daughter of Alfred William Blundon and Elizabeth Baker.

Buried:
West Ave Cemetery, St. Thomas.
Grace was also buried West Ave Cemetery - G/S 1887-1969.

Children:
1. Frances Eileen Wintermute, born 6 July 1923 (St. Thomas?) and died of pneumonia on 9 February 1926 at St. Thomas, buried West Ave Cemetery, St Thomas, no Gravestone.
2. Walter Roy Wintermute, born 25 November 1926 at St. Thomas.

Roy enlisted in 1916 for WWI, discharged February 1919 (listed as son of J.S. and Josephine Wintermute, Elgin County Book of Remembrance).
He ran the first gasoline station (before 1923) in St. Thomas near Alexandria and Talbot Streets. They lived at 62 Arthur Avenue, St. Thomas.
