AGED LAMBTONIAN DIES AT WATFORD
Mrs. Margaret Brown Dennis, known to many in Watford and district through several years of residence here with her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Harper, died on Wednesday evening. Mrs Dennis would have reached her 93rd birthday next April. Born at Greenock, Scotland, she came to Canada at the age of three and for many years resided in the Oakdale district of South Lambton, where her husband, the late Joseph Dennis, predeceased her 33 years ago.
Surviving are two sons, David Dennis, of Dresden, Isaac Dennis, of Woodslee, and four daughters, Mrs. Sam Johnston and Mrs. Charles Fick, of Windsor, Mrs. George Dennis, of Comber, and Mrs. W. H. Harper, Watford. A son, George, died two years ago and a daughter, Mary, about 40 years ago. The funeral will be held at the Harper Funeral Home on Saturday at two p.m. Rev. W. T. Eddy, of Erie Street United Church will conduct the service and interment will be at Shetland Cemetery.
