The death occurred at Arkona today of Wellington Dennis, aged 76, a former resident of this city. The deceased was born at Arkona, but resided in Sarnia until after the death of his wife in August. He was employed for some time by Grace Builders' Supplies. Two daughters and one son survive. They are Mrs. Frances Dietrich, Mrs. Oliver Woodhouse and Abraham Dennis, all of Detroit. The funeral will be held from D. J. Robb's funeral home at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday to the Mennonite Church, Warwick Twp., where a public service will be held at 2 o'clock. Burial will be held in the Mennonite cemetery.

Obituary
Death Takes Young Man

This community was shocked last Friday evening when word came of the death of Benjamin Dennis of Power's Station.
Mr. Dennis had been ailing for about seven years, and he had been unable to attend to his duties as manager of the Power's Station cheese factory for the past year. He had prior to that been manager of the plant for the past 10 years.
Mr. Dennis, whose age was 33 years, was born in Lyon, Ont., and nine years ago was united in marriage to Miss Eva Rear, who with one daughter, Evelyn, 6 years of age, survive him. He also leaves his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dennis of Lyon, Ont.; two brothers, Oscar, of Brantford, Ont., and Jack, of Power's Station, besides many warm friends here and in Canada.
The funeral was held at the late home Monday afternoon, Rev. George Gullea, of Detroit, officiating, Mesdames F.L. Cook and F. Pauline, of this village, singing. The remains were laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.

Methodist Obituary.
Mrs Catherine Watt for many years a resident of Cadillac passes away Monday in Traverse City, Michigan. Death was caused by arteriosclerosis. She was born Catherine Dennis in 1856, and was married to James Watt in 1874, in the County of Essex, Ontario, Canada. The couple came to Hobarth in 1890 and several years later settled in Cadillac. Following the death of her husband in 1927, Mrs Watt made her home with her three daughters. Mrs Charles Roof and Mrs Thomas Chittle of Cadillac and Mrs William Kemp of Mancelona. Surviving besides the dughters are two sons, Isaac Watt of Bozeman, and William Watt of Detroit, 28 grandchildren. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
