Shirley Anna Garrison was born on 2 July 1934 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.1 She and Theodore Cole Widlowski were married on 13 November 1975 in Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada.2 She died on 9 October 2013, at age 79, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Shirley Ann Widlowski Widlowski, Shirley Ann (Née Garrison) Passed away on October 9, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Theodore. Loving mom of the late Kathy (Bill) Reynolds, the late June Ellen Davis and Susan Widlowski. Shirley took on the leadership and raised two grandchildren like her own children; Benjamin and Madeline Beaudoin and loved grandmother of Cory (Joe) Fantin and Stacy Stanish. Further survived by 6 great-grandchildren, special friend Jill, other relatives and friends. Memorial Service on Friday, October 18, 2013, at 12 noon, at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL. Family will greet family and friends from 11AM until time of service. The world has suffered a great loss in a person who gave much love. Published in Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Oct. 13, 2013.

Joseph (Joe) William Mevis was born on 27 August 1873 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan. He and Maud Melva Garrison were married on 20 December 1893 in Clare, Clare, Michigan.1 He was married on 7 September 1914 in Howell, Livingston, Michigan.2 He was divorced on 13 April 1915 in Livingston County, Michigan.3 He was married on 25 December 1930.4 He died on 3 May 1960, at age 86, in Howell, Livingston, Michigan.
Joseph (Joe) William Mevis was a Plumber.4 Joseph W. Mevis born Aug. 27, 1873, in Lansing, Mich., was the son of Levi and Betsy Conklin Mevis. He attended Lansing and Okemos schools. He died May 3, 1960 in Howell from heart failure and had been ill for six weeks.

He was in the plumbing business. In the last six years, he was a partner in the operation of the Mevis Nursing Home on East Sibley St. in Howell. He was a member of the Evangelical Brethren Church and had served as class leader and Sunday School teacher.
Survivors were his widow, Peggy, whom he married Dec. 25, 1930; daughter, Dorothy Bidwell of Brighton; son, John Mevis of Greenville; two adopted daughters, Norma Steinacker of Howell and Dorothy Horwood of Ionia; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 6, 1960 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery.
