William Goodrich, of 560 Wildwood Avenue, died at 5 o'clock Saturday morning,from the effects of blood poisoniing, resulting recently from an injury to his arm sustained while he was a boy.

Mr. Goodrich was born in New York state in 1835. He had lived in Illinois for 44 years and in Kankakee since 1885, peddling brooms in the city for many years. The decendent is survived by a widow and seven grown children.

Funeral services will be held at he late residence Sunday afternoon.

A native of Saunemin township, he resided many years on a farm west of here. Surviving are daughters Mrs. Maude Bentley of Kankakee, Mrs. Esther Dobbs of Pontiac, son Jess of Cullom, brothers Henry of Bradley, Will and Rome of Kankakee; sister Mrs. Judson Booth of Kankakee.
