Last rites will be at 2 p.m.. Saturday in the Clancy Funeral Home for William G. Goodrich, 81, 479 N. Adams St., who died Wednesday.
The Rev. Marvin R. Elam of Wall Street Baptist Church willl conduct rites. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Mr Goodrich was born Dec. 19, 1877, at Saunemin and had lived in Kankakee County most of his life. A retired yard brakeman for the New York Central Railroad, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
His wife died in 1938.. Surviving him are sons, Claude and Wayne of Kankakee and Clyde of Wayne, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Booth of Kankakee; and seven grandchildren. A daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Hertz memorial temple, with the Rev. R. L. Harrell officiating. Interment will be in Mount Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mr. Goodrich was born May 3, 1885 at Baunemin, moving to Kankakee when he was a young man.
He worked as a machinist for the New York Central Railroad for 26 years and then went to the Kroehler Manufacturing company as a watchman, where he stayed for 15 years, retiring four years ago due to ill health.
Surviving are his wife Victoria, two sons, Robert and George of Kankakee, two daughters Mrs. Bessie Tomas of Ashkum and Mrs. Cotha Tuttle of Chicago, stepchildren Edwin Bushey, Lawrence Bushey and Mrs. Viola Diercouff, all of Kansas. Five grandchildren, s sister Mrs. Jennie Booth of Kankakee and two brothers William of Kankakee and Henry of Bradley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Goodrich Evans, 83, former Kankakee resident who died yesterday at St. Margaret hospital, Hammond, Ind., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hertz Memorial temple with burial in Mound Grove cemetery. the body is at the temple where friends may call. Mrs. Evans had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Hazel Dunn of Hammond since last April.
She moved to Kankakee with her parents when she was six months of age and had resided here since. In 1885 she was married to David W. Goodrich who died in 1929 and in 1945 she married H. A. Evans, whose death occurred last April.

Surving are one son, Ralph Huntley of Bourbonnais, three daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and Richard Kraft of Chadler, Ariz., Irma Jean and William Cheffer of Kankakee and Shirley and Ted Arseneau of Huber Heights, Ohio; one sister, Peggy of Florida; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
One brother, three sisters, and her daughter-in law, Carol Huntley, are deceased.
She enjoyed gardening and music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Goodrich, her parents, a son-in-law, Kenneth LaFine, Sr.; three sisters Mary Baker , Rose LaGesseand Pauline Jepsen.
She was a retired emploee of Mortell's and a member of the Madonna of the Rock.

He was preceded in death by his father.
A veteran of the Navy during World War II, Mr LaFine was a past commander of the Kankakee Veterans of Foreign Wars; a member of the VFW National Color Guard and a member of the Bell's Muskie Club of Wausau, Wisc.
An avid sportsman and fisherman, he was a retired employee of Arnstrong World Industries. He was a former milk man for Dean's He worked for Hurst Security and was a longtime route delivery man for the Daily Journal.
