Son of Walter and Flora (Selden) Treadway, he was born Aug. 6, 1899 near Rising City where he attended Fairview School and married Florence E. Morgan on Sept, 14, 1921. He farmed and was associated with the lumber yard at Bellwood, residing in Butler County until moving to St. Edward in 1957. He was a member of United Methodist Church and Oddfellows Lodge.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Clarabelle) Hoshor of Bellwood, Mrs. Joe (Dorothy) Kopecky of David City, Mrs. Chris (Lois) Hiller of St. Edward; eight grandhchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother G. G. of Kearney; three sisters, Mrs, Bernice Ebel of Bellwood, Mrs. William (Sybil) Jones of Bell Gardnes, Calif., Mrs. Janette Lamon f Seal Breach, Calif. Two brothers and one sister are deceased.

3 Clarabelle Maxine Hoshor, daughter of Clarence and Florence (Morgan) Treadway, was born November 18, 1923 at Surprise, Nebraska. She attended Surprise Public Schools and graduated from Surprise High School in 1940. Clarabelle received Normal Training and began teaching. In 1968, she earned her Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
On January 29, 1945, she was united in marriage to Walter Hoshor in California.
The couple lived in Bellwood, Nebraska and Clarabelle taught school at Bellwood and other Butler County Schools for more than 35 yrs. In 2000, they moved to St. Edward, Nebraska. Clarabelle entered the Cloverlodge Care Center in April, 2006.
Clarabelle was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bellwood and later the
United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in St. Edward. She was an active member of
the church women's groups, several educational organizations, and Rebecca's.
Clarabelle died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Cloverlodge Care Center at 83 years of age after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by 1 son: Keith Hoshor and wife Sheila of St. Edward, NE; 4 grandchildren: Kelli Hoshor and Kevin Hoshor of St. Edward, NE; Brian Zabka and Fianc Alexandra Wesely of Lincoln, NE; Crystal Zabka of Omaha, NE; 1 great-granddaughter: Cooper Zabka of Lincoln, NE; 1 sister: Lois Hiller of Lincoln, NE; 1 sister-in-law: Orletha Hoshor of David City, NE; 1 brother-in-law: Joe Kopecky of Octavia, NE.
Clarabelle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter in 2002, 1 sister Dorthy Kopecky, 2 brothers-in-law: Chris Hiller and John Hoshor.

11 Walter William Hoshor, 87, of St. Edwards, died Friday, July 26, 2002, at Countryside Home in Madison.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Methodist-Presbyterian Church in St. Edward with the Rev. Tom Henstock officiating. Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Bellwood Cemetery in Bellwood with military rites conducted by the Lavern Schmit Post 327 of Bellwood.
Visitation is 4-6 p.m. today at Miller-Levander Funeral Home in St. Edward.
Mrs. Hoshor was born Oct. 14, 1914, to Clarence and Ann (Rose) Hoshor in Bellwood. He graduated from Bellwood High School in 1934 and was on the state championship Bellwood basketball team his senior year.
He entered the U.S. Navy in 1942 and was a SeaBee in the Naval Const. Battalion in the South Pacific. He was honorably discharged in 1945.
On Jan. 29, 1945, he married Clarabelle M. Treadway in Oakland, Calif. The couple lived in Butler County where he worked on the railroad. After World War ll, he worked as a carpenter and owned and operated Bellwood Lumber Company. He semi-retired in 1987, but continued to do some carpentry work.
The couple moved to St. Edward in 2000.
He was a 50-year member of Bellwod United Methodist Church before moving to St. Edward when he became a member of the United Methodist-Presbyterian Church there. He was a member of the Bellwood Fire Department and the town board in Bellwood. He was a member of the Lavern Schmit American Legion Post 327 in Bellwood and then later a member of the Crosier American Legion Post 226 of St. Edward. He served as the president of the school board, president of the Cemetery Board, and was on the Bellwood United Methodist Church Board. He was an avid baseball player. He played for the Mid-State League; he also coached and managed the Women's Kitten Softball Team in Bellwood in the 1930s. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Keith M. (Sheila) Hoshor, two grandchildre; two step grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Orietha (John) Hoshor of David City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and sisters in childhood; and another brother, John.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. rosary service, at Kracl Funeral Chapel in David City, continuing 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials suggested to the Presentation Catholic Church or Aquinas Guardian Angel Fund.
There will be a lunch at the KC Hall in David City.
Joe was born Dec. 29, 1925, in David City, to Bohumil and Anna (Justyn) Kopecky.
He attended Marietta School and graduated in 1943. On May 20, 1946, he married Dorothy Treadway at the Presentation Catholic Church in Marietta. She died May 4, 1993.
Joe was a member of Presentation Catholic Church where he also served as a Parish Acolyte. He was an Honorary Third and Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. He also was a member of the Eagles Club and Aquinas Booster Club. Joe farmed until 1996 and did commercial trucking for 50 years. He was a football referee for 40 years and a basketball referee for 20 years.
He is survived by three sons, Donald Kopecky, of Aurora, Colo., Rick (Eileen) Kopecky, of Octavia, and Jack (Karen) Kopecky, of Altoona, Iowa; one daughter, Jody Kopecky, of David City; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Agnes Orcutt, of Omaha, Hattie Bougger, of Brainard, and Marie Johnson, of North Bend.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two brothers, Steve and Rudy Kopecky; and a sister, Anne Widener.
Kracl Funeral Chapel, of David City, is in charge of these arrangements.
