Ella May Goodrich, 58, of 430 North Harrison avenue, died this morning at St. Mary hospital, following an illness of two weeks.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the residence and burial will be in Mound Grove.

She was born Oct. 25, 1879 in Kankakee, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Jacob Ostrander. Besides her husband William she leaves two sons Claude of Kankakee and Clyde of Detroit, sister Tola Sederstrand of Kankakee and eight grandchildren.

The body will be removed Tuesday morning from the Hickey funeral home to the residence where friends may call.

Wayne served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953 as a battalion parts manager. He spent 29 years as utility manager at Roper Stove Co.: and also retired from Kankakee Sewage Treatment Plant He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards and was a voracious reader.

Surviving are sons. Wayne and Kim Goodrich, of Fort Collins, Colo., Dana and Missy Goodrich, of Kankakee. James Goodrich and Loreen Stec, of Bourbonnais; daughters. Diana and Tom Elroy, of St. Anne, Dawn and Keith Wilson, of Kankakee: brother and sister-in-law. Bud Goodrich, of Sacramento. Calif., and Janet Fillinger, of Bourbonnais; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife; son, Larry Goodrich; grandson. Grant Goodrich; and great-grandsons, Johnathan and Daniel Elroy.

Per his request, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation rites have been accorded.1

Marie C. Goodrich, 89, of Kankakee, died Friday (Sept. 14, 1990) at the Americana Healthcare Center in Kankakee. Visitation with the family will be at the Hertz-Thoma Chapel in Kankakee from 7 p.m. Monday until ­memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Mon­day. The Rev. Howard Ditrick will officiate. Memorials may be made for Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bour­bonnais. The daughter of the late John and Mary Peterson Smith, she was born April 18, 1901 in Chebanse. Her husband, Claude A. Goodrich, whom she married June 14, 1922 in Kankakee, died Sept. 24, 1982.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Nelda Goodrich and Richard and Juanita Goodrich, all of Kankakee; two daughters and a son-in-law, Betty and Lawrence Delgado of Kankakee and Janet Fillinger of Bourbonnais; and 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Mrs. Goodrich was a member of Central Christian Church. She had formerly been a "nanny" for Dr. Burton Brown and for Gretchen Brown.

Born September 29, 1924. in Kankakee, to Claude and Marie Goodrich. she and her husband moved to Sugarmill Woods, Homosassa. Fla., in 1993 to be near their children. Mrs. Delgado was a telephone operator and in retail sale & She was active in PTA, Girl Scout camp leadership, volunteering in the community and neighborhood when needed. She served as a Deaconess and was very active in Central Christian Church in Illinois. She loved the outdoors, gardening and never tired of helping others.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years; Lawrence Delgado of Crystal River, Fla.; daughter, Kathy Moranz of Homosassa, Fla.; son, Michael Delgado and wife Nancy of Crystal River, Fla.; brother, Richard and wife Juanita of Kankakee; sister, Janet Fillinger and friend Mary of Bourbonnais; sister-in-law, Nelda Goodrich of Kankakee; sister-in-law, Rachel Hernandez of Gary, Ind.; brother-in-law, David Gutierrez and wife Carmen of Joliet; grandchildren, Misti Henderson and Maxwell Moranz of Homosassa. Fla.; Justin Delgado and wife Sarah of Homosassa, Fla.; Nina Smith and husband Jason of Homosassa, Fla.; two new welcome great-grandchildren, Lucas Delgado and Abigail Smith; also nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and her canine companion, Pepper.

She was preceded in death by her parents and loving brother, Jim Goodrich. and brother-in-law, Ralph Hernandez, who will be waiting in Heaven to greet her. She was a great role model and will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held on Monday; May 15, 2006, at 7p.m., at National cremation Society, Hudson, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Citrus County Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.

He is survived by his wife, Donelda "Nelda'" Sniegowski Goodrich, whom he married April 17, 1955, in Kankakee. Also surviv­ing are one son and daughter-in-­law, Jim Jr. and Suanne Goodrich of Bradley; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara K. Goodrich of Bourbonnais, Carol A. and Jeffrey Brooks of Kanka­kee, Susan Marie and Howard Trombley of Warren, Mich.; and five grandchildren; Nicole and Michael Goodrich of Bradley, Renee and Jesse Brooks of Kankakee, Joscelyn Brooks of Richmond, Va. He is also survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty and Lawrence Delgado of Homosassa, Fla., Janet Fill­inger of Bourbonnais; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Juanita Goodrich of Kankakee; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Goodrich enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May of 1944, serving in the Pacific during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 85 in Kankakee.

He was born in Kankakee, the son of Claude and Marie Smith Goodrich. He worked long hours as a truck driver for 40 years, the last 30 of which were at Rudolf Express. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Juanita Walker Goodrich; two sons, Richard and friend Mary Benjamin, of St. Anne, and William (Carolyn); daughters, Nancy (Bob) Harris, Bonnie (Bob) Welker, all of Kankakee, and Linda (Tim) Petro, of Broken Arrow, Okla,; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim; and a sister, Betty Delgado.

Raul Lawrence DelGado was an Engraver in A. O.. Smith.2 On Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, R. Lawrence Delgado left this Earth to join his loving wife, Betty, and to live with God in Heaven. He lived with his son and daughter-in-law on King's Bay waterfront for the last seven years.
He was born Nov. 7, 1922, in El Paso, Texas, to Bruno and Jovita Delgado, but they soon moved to Joliet, Ill., where he graduated from Joliet High School. He joined the U.S. Army and served a complete tour in China-Burma-India, with honors received. He was active with his buddies, and carried the flag at their meetings until a few years ago.
Mr. Delgado was an engraver with A.O. Smith for 40 years in Illinois. He was active in Central Christian Church there, also served as a deacon; in PTA meetings at his children's school; Cub Scouts, Boy Scout leader and Rainbow Council member.
He was a good friend and helper and would volunteer to help anyone with carpentry, moving, painting, planting, etc. He loved his family and would do anything for them and will miss being home with Mike and Nan, his son and daughter-in-law.
In 1993, he and his wife moved to Sugarmill Woods in Homosassa to be near his children.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, May 9, 2006, married 60 years; his little sister, Isabel Delgado; his mother and father, Jovita and Bruno Delgado; his brothers-in-law, Ralph Hernandez and Jim Goodrich. I'm sure they are waiting to greet him with open arms - and especially his honey, with her "Honey Do List"!
Survivors include daughter, Kathy Moranz of Homosassa, Fla.; son, Michael Delgado and his wife, Nancy, of Crystal River, Fla.; sister, Carmen Gutierrez and husband, David, of Joliet, Ill.; his baby sister, Rachel Hernandez, of Merrillville, Ind.; sister-in-law, Nelda Goodrich of Kankakee, Ill.; sister-in-law, Janet Fillinger and her friend Mary of Bourbonnais, Ill.; and brother-in-law, Richard Goodrich and his wife, Juanita, of Kankakee, Ill.
He will watch over his loving, wonderful grandchildren, Misti Henderson and her fiancé, Larry Sand, Maxwell Moranz, Justin Delgado and his wife, Sara, Nina Smith and her husband, Jason. He will love and miss his great-grandchildren he adored, Lucas and Mia Delgado, Abigail and Gianna Smith. Also, his special friends Mary Jane and Bob Edge of New York (formerly of Sugarmill Woods); and his wonderful nieces and nephews all over the United States. He doesn't want to forget his bingo friend who crocheted his phone carrier, and Nurse Roz and Sara from Cypress Cove. Unforgettable canine best buddy Pepper and his canine footwarmer companion Bailey.
Lawrence was a wonderful father and role model for everyone and will be sadly missed by many.
After transferring from National Cremation Society to Bushnell, full military honors will be conducted at a later date.
