Cora Bell Jensen
A lifelong resident of the area. Mrs. Cora Bell Jensen, of 90, of 1835 S Third Ave., died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at a local nursing home following a short illness. She was a member of the Danish Lutheran Church. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Clancy Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert L'Horntoe officiating. Burial is to be in Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home and until services Tuesday. Mrs. Jensen was born on July 23, 1886 in Saunemin, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rockwood. She was married in Dwight on Dec. 13, 1903 to Peter C. Jensen who died on Feb. 18, 1976. Surviving are sons, Raymond Jensen of Kankakee, the Rev. Floyd Jensen of Mount Victory, Ohio, and Kenneth Jensen of Kempton; daughters, Mrs. Anna Bell Glaze, Mrs. Catherine LaCoast, Mrs. Vivian Causer and Mrs. Bernice Kitmas, all of Kankakee; 32 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Arthur Rockwood of Plainfield.

The above obituary has an error. Her maiden name and her brother's last name should be Lockwood not Rockwood. Also daughter Anna Bell should be Annabelle.

Rev. Floyd Jepsen
KENTON, OHIO-The Rev. Floyd E. Jepsen, 90, of Kenton, Ohio and brother of area resident, died today (July 8, 1999) at Ravenwood Care Center. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6 -8 p.m. Saturday at Brice Funeral Homes, Kenton, and from 1 p.m. Sunday until the 2 p.m. services at First United Methodist Church, Kenton. The Revs. William Koppert and Douglas Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Wolfcreek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church and Hardin County Council on Aging in Kenton. Rev. Jepsen was a retired Methodist minister, serving in Sugar Creek, Wolfcreek and Rhinehart churches of Kenton and Mt. Victory Marsielles Methodist Church. He retired in 1974 and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kenton. He was a former chapain at Hardin Memorial Hospital and the Hardin County Ministerial Association, the Latham Masonic Lodge 154, Scioto Chapter 119, RAM, Kenton Commandery 58, KT, Kenton Council 65 R&SM. He was born April 7, 1909 in Bradley, the son of Peter Raymond and Corabelle Lockwood Jepsen. Surviving are his wife, the former Geneva Dahlquist, whom he married Feb. 20, 1929 in Kankakee; one son, John of Kenton; two granddaughters, Ann (Richard) Teeters of Ada, Ohio, and Sue (Paul) Lohrber of Alger, Ohio; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Berniece Kalmis of Kankakee and Katherine Lacost of Bradley. He was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and one great-grandson.
