Obituary

Shirley Lou Harris, age 77, of Grand Blanc died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at her residence. Shirley was born in Tawas City on Aug. 17, 1934, the daughter of Raymond and Frances (nee Latham) Warner.

Shirley dearly loved being with her family and spent Wednesday, March 14, shopping, gardening and dining with four of her children. She enjoyed gardening and word puzzles.
Shirley was employed for many years in the convalescent care field.

Surviving are children, Thomas, Sally (Tony) Lorenz, Mary Lou Peacock, Frances (Michael) Malone, Donald (Lanah) Harris and Vicki (Robert) Blogg; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Merlin, Cecil (Rose) and Lyle Warner; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; parents; infant son, Timothy; and brothers, Marvin and Donald Warner.

Funeral services and burial have taken place in Wilber. .
