William (Bill) Francis Wilson, of Waverly, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 at his home, with his family by his side. Born Nov. 29, 1947 in Waverly, he was the son of the late Francis and Delores Wilson. Bill was also predeceased by his daughter Angel M. Dunker and grandson Paul Dunker.

Bill graduated from Waverly High School in 1965. After high school he joined the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam War and served f rom 1965 to 1969. He worked at Leprino's for over 20 years. He worked for Hagens' Pet Food as a shipping and receiving clerk from 1999 until his retirement in 2011. Bill was a collector of both coins and replica military ships. He was an avid fan of the football team the New York Giants and also of NASCAR, following his favorite driver Mark Martin.

Bill was first and foremost a family man, enjoying his family and spend ing time with his boys, his backyard, building patios, and his fish pond. Bill also enjoyed his dogs "Buck" and "Lucy," '60s music, and trips to the casino.

Surviving him are his loving wife Joy Ann (Blizzard) Wilson, at home; his children, James L. Barton, Scott E. Barton, both of Waverly, Reed Barton of Harrisburg, Pa., and Allen D. (Toni) Barton, also of Waverly. Bill is survived by five grandchildren, Nicholas S. Barton, Jake D. Barton, Samantha Barton, Cameron Barton and Coral Dunker; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Barb Bidlack (Tim Orshaw); his uncle, George Namet; and nephew, Brian Bidlack.

Family and friends may call Friday, Feb. 7 from 4-7 p.m. at the Luckner F uneral Home, 449 Park Ave., Waverly. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joy Ann Wilson, of Waverly, passed away and was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, June 20, 2014 at her home with her sons by her side. Joy was born Sept. 16, 1943, in Endicott, N.Y., the daughter of t he late Charles and Regina Blizzard.

Joy was predeceased by her husband William F. Wilson, and her daughter Angel M. Dunker, and grandson Paul Dunker.

Joy graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1961, and embarked on her adult life which included raising five children, providing a home to six foster children, and working as a storekeeper, and childcare provider, and bartender. Joy loved to go antique shopping and yard sales with her husband Bill and really enjoyed decorating her house in a Mediterranean theme.

She is best remembered by her family for the effort she put forth in the holidays a special time for everybody. Joy loved to entertain and will be remembered by her friends for the times they shared in Joy's backyard.

Surviving Joy are: her four sons, James L. Barton and Scott E. Barton, both of Waverly, Reed Barton of Harrisburg, Pa., and Allen D. (Toni) Barton, of Waverly. Joy is also survived by five grandchildren: Nicholas S . Barton, Jake D. Barton, Samantha Barton, Cameron Barton, and Coral Dunker; also, two great-grandchildren.
