Mrs. Samuel Hendershot
Mrs. Mayme Hendershot, 64, of Newton, Sussex County, died of a heart attack Wednesday while visiting at the home of Mrs. George Mooney, of Andover. She was the widow of Samuel Hendershot. Born in Marksboro, she had lived all her life in Sussex County. She owned and operated the Yankee Hill Antique Shop located at her home on Sparta Avenue. Surviving are a son, James C., of Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Lester Mooney and Mrs. Leslie Decker, of Washington; a brother, Harold Wintermute, of Newton; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held this afternoon. Internment was in Newton Cemetery.
