William Owen Wintermute was born on 8 May 1914 in Bevans, New Jersey.2 He and Mary Theresa Farroat were married on 23 November 1933 in New York. He died on 15 August 1999, at age 85, in North Richland Hills, Tarrant, Texas.3,4 He was buried in S Bg William C. Doyle Vet's Memorial Cemetery, New Jersey.11
Willliam "Bill" Wintermute, 85, retired from sales, died Sunday Aug. 15, 1999, in Bedford.

Funeral : 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Dr. Funeral Chapel, Temporary entombment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens until the Veterans Cemetery is available in Grand Prairie. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Pallbearers will be Billl Wintermute, Jack Wintermute, David Wintermute, Mike Castranova, Rob Castranova and Kenny Woods.

William "Bill" Wintermute was born to John B. and Ann Johns Wintermute on May 8, 1914. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He owned an automobile dealership in Hunterdon County, N.J. for many years and retired in 1969, as a wine and liquor salesman.

Survivors: Wife, Mary T. Wintermute of North Richland Hills: sons, William Wintermute of New Hope, Pa. and Jack Wintermute of Willsboro, N.Y.; daughters, Giner Castranova of Keller, Eileen Oswin of Succasunna, N.J. and Bette Jane Price of North Richland Hills; brother, Walter Wintermute of Annandale, N.J.; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
