The 1918 City Directory for Easton, Northumberland, Pennsylvania certainly appears to indicate he (U.S. Army) had married Lizzie M. - Kathryn Smith indicates this was Lizzie Hellick - note his future occupation in Sales with the George F. Hellick Coffee Co. Then in the 1920 census, his-to-be future wife Helen Van Why was still SINGLE and living with her widowed mother Minna and family in East Stroudsburg, PA. By the time of the 1930 census he was married to Helen.
