Likely was the one of Missy's brothers who gave to Rutgers (then probably Queens College around the turn of the century.) Maybe in his will??? (Since he died in 1916.)
Note: I'm not convinced about who donated money to Rutgers. Dad's story keeps changing. Sometimes it's the Suydams and sometimes it's the Meyers. I'm wondering if it isn't all a family myth/legend. (James Fenimore Cooper, anyone?)

Marriage comes up "3" times in familysearch ...
One source gives date as 18 Oct, 1876. The other three give the date as 25 July, 1876. Sarah's first name is consistently given as Sallie (Sallie C. in two out of three) and her surname is misspelled as LaUterman in all cases. Meyers is consistently spelled correctly, but in one record, his first name is abbreviated as Saml.
* It looks like 18 Oct 1876 was the date that it was received and recorded into the book.
