Evelyn (Snyder) Buck, 92, of Telford, formerly of Quakertown, died Tuesday, January 31, in the Lutheran Community at Telford. She was the wife of Ralph E. Buck. The couple celebrated 69 years of marriage last June. Born in Haycock Township, Bucks County, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Sallie (Hockman) Snyder. She was employed by the former Eagle Shirt Co., Quakertown, as a sewing machine operator for many years. Previously, she was employed by David Crystal Manufacturing, Trumbauersville. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Perkasie. She was past floor officer and an active member of Perkiomen Chapter 313, Order of the Eastern Star, for 50 years.

Survivors: Husband; daughters, Diane R. Modzel and husband Cecil, Quakertown, Nancy Profeto of Pinellas Park, Fla.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Alverta Riegel, Maggie Strawn, Erma Gulden and Mary Stump.

Services: Will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2006, in Peace Lutheran Church, 100 Old Bethlehem Rd., Perkasie. Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Monday in the church.

Interment, Tohickon Union Cemetery, Weisel. Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St., Quakertown, is in charge of arrangements.
