Allen R. Erdman, 74, of E. Broad Street, Quakertown, died Tuesday in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Merle (Lewis) Erdman. They were married 51 years in November.

Erdman worked for W.R. Grace Co., Quakertown, for many years until retiring in 1982.

Born in Kellers Church, he was a son of the late William Henry and Sybilla (Allem) Erdman.

He was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kellers Church.

Ralph E. "Bucky" Buck, 95, of Telford, previously of Quakertown, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 in the Lutheran Community at Telford. He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Snyder) Buck.
Born in Slatedale, he was a son of the late Osville W. and Minnie Buck.
For over 40 years he was a self-employed floor sander/finisher operating the Ralph Buck Floor Sanding & Refurnishing Co., Quakertown.
Mr. Buck was a member of the Quakertown Lodge #512 F & AM for 60 years, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the Rajah Temple, Reading, and Tall Cedars, Quakertown Chapter.
He is survived by two daughters: Diane R. Modzel, and her husband Cecil of Quakertown, and Nancy Profeto of Pinellas Park, Fla.; five grandchildren: James and Bart Crumbach, Greg Steich Sr., John Steich, and Nicole Madigan; four great grandchildren, and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Melvin and Perry, and a sister, Merriam Buckingham.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1 in Peace Lutheran Church, Perkasie with calling hours Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. There will be a Masonic service at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will be in Tohickon Union Cemetery, Weisel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 100 Old Bethlehem Road, Perkasie, Pa. 18944.
Arrangements are by Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, Quakertown.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Hagersville.

Survivors: sons, Norman of North Wales, Montgomery County, and Stanley of Jackson, Tenn.; daughters, Shirley, wife of E. Clifford Krauss of Quakertown, and Suzanne, wife of Richard Brader of Trumbauersville; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
