Following a prolonged illness of diabetes, Willam M. Robbins, aged 40, a well known mining man of this section, died yesterday morning at his home, 24 Magnolia Avenue. Mr. Robbins was employed by the D.L.W. Coal Company since he was a boy and at the time of his death was assistant outside foreman at the Woodward colliery at Edwardsville. He was a member of Kingston Lodge, No. 709, I.O. O. F. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Helen and Katherine, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elias Robbins and three brothers, Edward, Elias and Abner of Kingston. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from his late home. Services at the house with interment in Hollenback Cemetery.
