Mr. Garrison was born March 12, 1912, in Raymond, Wash., and was raised in Vancouver. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He was an airplane mechanic for Douglas Aircraft, Vultee Aircraft and Columbia Aircraft. He later was a warehouseman for Central Supply Co. He lived in the Portland area most of his life. In 1963, he married Phyllis Myers Kimsey; she died in 1978.

Survivors include his sister, Elva L. Jackson.
