Richard Curlis Wolford, 20, of 307 E. Seventh St., Sycamore, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, following a construction accident in Dayton when he fell 60 feet.
He was employed by the McClain Construction Co., Inc. of Greenville.
Mr. Wolford was born in Sycamore Feb. 2, 1942, to Edgar T. and Maxine (Curlis) Wolford, and they survive in Sycamore. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles E., Steven A., both of Saline, Mich.
He was a member of the American and Canadian Numismatist Associations. He attended the United Methodist Church in Sycamore.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore, the Rev. Daniel D. Carmany officiated. Burial was made in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Lucile E. Vanderpool was born on 22 May 1919 in Elma, Grays Harbor, Washington.1,2 She was married on 8 August 1938 in Grays Harbor County, Washington.1,3 She was divorced about 1960.1 She and Alson Walter Wood were married in 1961 in Reno, Washoe, Nevada.1,4 She died on 13 December 1989, at age 70, in Aberdeen, Grays Harbor, Washington.1,2 She was buried in Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen, Grays Harbor, Washington.1
Lucile E. Vanderpool was a Singer Sewing Machine Company.4 Lucille E. (Whitacre) Wood, 70 a resident of Aberdeen since 1939, died Wednesday at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was born May 22, 1919, in Elma and moved to Aberdeen from Montesano. She graduated from Kelso High School in 1938 and taught sewing at the Singer Sewing Center in Aberdeen. During World War II she worked at Harbor Plywood Co. She then worked in the paper finishing department at the Grays Harbor Paper Mill for 16 years. She retired in 1963. She married Elson Wood in 1961 in Reno, Nev. he died in 1985. She was a past president of the Aberdeen Eagles Auxiliary and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Buddie) Davidson of Montesano and Donna Barret t of Aberdeen; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ken (Barbara) Gregory of Sweet Home, Ore ; two stepsons, Bud Wood of Henderson, Nev., and Robin Wood of Monroe; 16 grand children and four great-grandchildren. A funeral is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fern Hill Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. (Obituary, Aberdeen Daily World, 15 December 1989.)
