PONTIAC - Esther Jensen, 90, of Rossville, formerly of Pontiac, died at 3:42 a.m. Thursday (July 23, 1998) at Manor Care in Urbana.

The graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunny Slope Cemetery, Saunemin. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Cullom.

Mrs. Jensen was born April 7, 1908, in Sullivan Township, Livingston County, a daughter of Daniel Edwin and Elizabeth Schoder Goodrich. She married Charles Dodds. He preceded her in death. She later married Egel Jensen on April 23, 1955, in Kankakee. He died May 20, 1968.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Lester) Devore, Urbana; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Her parents, one brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
