Mr. Lake enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool and shuffleboard.

Surviving are his wife, whom he married May 26, 1934, Ida Wismer Lake, 205 Menno-Village, Chambersburg; two sons, David W. (husband of Linda G.) of Chambersburg, William A. (husband of Linda K.) of Smethport, Pa.; five grandsons; two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers A. Paul Lake, and Harry G. Lake.

His memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday November 13, 2004, in the Menno Haven Chapel with Chaplain Vernon Isner and Rev. Linda B. Harter officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
