Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave. in Lowell. Cremation will follow services with burial in Lake Prairie Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 4 at 10 a.m. at the Eller-Brady Funeral Home, 8510 Lake Shore Drive, Cedar Lake, Indiana, officiating Rev. Rick Lawrence of the First Southern Baptist Church. Interment, German Methodist Cemetery, Cedar Lake. Friends may call at the funeral home, Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Conley was a member of the Cedar Lake Eagles Aerie #2529 and Cedar Lake Amvets. There will be an Eagles memorial service Wednesday 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to call at the Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Ave., Hessville, Tuesday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Dunn was a lifetime resident of the Calumet region; veteran of World War II serving with the United Stated Navy; retired in 1979 from the IHB Railroad after 32 years as a car inspector. He was a member of the American Legion, Post No, 101 of Lowell, Indiana.

Mr. Plique was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Ottawa, to Leon and Mabel (Goodrich) Plique. He married Rose Swartz of Marseilles in 1950. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Marseilles.
He is survived by his wife; four brothers, John St. Germaine of Streator, Jack Plique of Marseilles, Kenneth and Ronald Plique, both of Sheridan; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Dean, Margaret Plique and Mrs. Wayne (Sandra) Tutman, all of Ottawa, and Mrs. David (Billie) McCarty of Amherst, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

2 Mrs. Robert J. (Mildred D. ) Dean, 79, of 741 Fort St., Ottawa, died Monday afternoon, Dec. 29, at Community Hospital of Ottawa, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Evangelical Church with the Rev. Carl Muehler officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Mueller Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Dean was born Dec. 15, 1924, in Streator, to Leon and Mabel Plique. She married Robert J. Dean lll on June 26, 1942, in Missouri.
She had been a waitress at several area locations including many years at Monte's Riverside Inn. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Uno Club and AARP and was a past member of the Alter Guild at the church.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Robert J. (Peggy) Dean lV of Denver, Pa., Doug (Cynthia) Otto of Hebron, Ky., and James L. (Laurie) Dean of Tucson, Ariz; seven grandchildren. eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Billie Ann (David) McCarty of Melbourne, Fla., Margarett Plique and Sandra (Wayne) Tuntland, both of Ottawa; and three brothers, Ronald (Joyce) Plique of Greenville, Tenn., Slyvester (Helen) Plique of Marseilles and Kenneth Plique of Sheridan.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Wendt, Lois Willis and Eva Jerde; and two brothers, Leon Plique, Jr. and John St. Germaine.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Pallbearers will be Ernie and Eric Gray, Wayne Tuntland, Bill and Thaddeus Wendt and Davie McCarty.
