Biography

Clarabelle Maxine Treadway was born on 18 November 1923 in Surprise, Butler, Nebraska.1,2,3 She and Walter William Hoshor were married on 29 January 1945 in Oakland, Alameda, California.4 She died on 1 September 2007, at age 83, in Saint Edward, Boone, Nebraska.2,3 She was buried in Bellwood Cemetery, Bellwood, Butler, Nebraska.2
Clarabelle Maxine Treadway was a Teacher.4 She was educated University of Nebraska, Lincoln.4 She was awarded a Bachelors- Education.4 Clarabelle Maxine Hoshor, daughter of Clarence and Florence (Morgan) Treadway, was born November 18, 1923 at Surprise, Nebraska. She attended Surprise Public Schools and graduated from Surprise High School in 1940. Clarabelle received Normal Training and began teaching. In 1968, she earned her Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

On January 29, 1945, she was united in marriage to Walter Hoshor in California.
The couple lived in Bellwood, Nebraska and Clarabelle taught school at Bellwood and other Butler County Schools for more than 35 yrs. In 2000, they moved to St. Edward, Nebraska. Clarabelle entered the Cloverlodge Care Center in April, 2006.

Clarabelle was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bellwood and later the
United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in St. Edward. She was an active member of
the church women's groups, several educational organizations, and Rebecca's.

Clarabelle died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Cloverlodge Care Center at 83 years of age after a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by 1 son: Keith Hoshor and wife Sheila of St. Edward, NE; 4 grandchildren: Kelli Hoshor and Kevin Hoshor of St. Edward, NE; Brian Zabka and Fianc Alexandra Wesely of Lincoln, NE; Crystal Zabka of Omaha, NE; 1 great-granddaughter: Cooper Zabka of Lincoln, NE; 1 sister: Lois Hiller of Lincoln, NE; 1 sister-in-law: Orletha Hoshor of David City, NE; 1 brother-in-law: Joe Kopecky of Octavia, NE.

Clarabelle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter in 2002, 1 sister Dorthy Kopecky, 2 brothers-in-law: Chris Hiller and John Hoshor.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Presentation Church in Bellwood with the Rev. Gerald Vap officiating. Burial is in Presentation Cemetery in Bellwood.

A rosary will be held today at 8:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church in David City.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph; three sons, Donald of Aurora, Colo,. Richard (Rick) of Octavia, and John (Jack) of Altoona, Iowa; one daughter, Jody Priest of Fairbury; 11 grandchildren and two sisters, Clarabelle Hoshor of Bellwood and Lois Hiller of Columbus.

Aberdeen, SD-Funeral service for Donna (Lohnes) Pleinis, 74, of Aberdeen will be 10:30 am, Friday, May 13, 2011 at North Highland United Methodist Church in Aberdeen. The Rev. Mark Ehrmantraut will officiate.

Burial will be in Ipswich, SD City Cemetery.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Donna died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at ManorCare Health Services in Aberdeen.

Donna Lohnes, daughter of Edgar and Emma (Hettich) Lohnes was born December 10, 1936 at Ipswich, SD. She graduated from Ipswich High School with the class of 1954.

She was united in marriage to Donald Snover in 1956. After her sons started school, she became a dental receptionist for 23 years.

Donna enjoyed her children first above all else. She also liked to knit, craft, garden and can produce. She was always entertained while she took care of her boys puppies, she loved to spoil them and send them home. She liked to take care of elderly and gave a lot of her time to their needs.

She was a member of North Highland United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Mike (Laura) Snover of Aberdeen and Rick (Sheila) Snover of Mina, SD, three grandchildren, Ryan (Tanya) Snover, Nicole (Travis) Bukaske and Tyler Snover and three great-grandchildren, Tiara, Madison and Chelsie.

Her parents and one sister Beverly Crompton preceded her in death.

The ushers will be Ron Krogman and Ernie Kerby, the organist will be Joanne Deloy and there will be special music by Dr. Russell Pietz.

Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen have been entrusted with arrangements.
