Sheldon and Blanch were parents of several children. After Sheldon and Blanch were divorced, Sheldon and Bernadine-----were married. Bernadine moved to Parkersburg.

Charles Sheldon Lynch, 73, of Parkersburg passed away Thursday, April 10, 1980 at the Monticello Nursing Home in Mt. Carmel.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 12th at 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem. Rev. Arthur Ritchey officiated with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Bernadine of Parkersburg; four sons, Charles Jr. and Harold Lynch, both of West Salem, Lester Lynch of Parkersburg and Kenneth Lynch of Olney; one daughter, Mrs. Eloise Moudy of West Salem; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ellen Marx of Morris, Illinois; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Koertge of Olney and Mrs. Thelma Jones of Bridgeport; one brother, Herbert Lynch of West Salem.

Born March 9, 1907 in Jasper County, Illinois, he was the son of Charles Lynch and Mary Elizabeth Paullins.

He was a retired farmer and timber worker, and a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church.

He was a member of Gilead Presbyterian Church, a veteran of World War II, a former teacher and retired mail carrier.

Mr. McVickar was born in Lukin Township, Lawrence County, Oct. 20, 1911, son of W. H. and Bertha Provines McVickar.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel Brunson McVickar; a son, 2d Lt.Paul McVickar of Mather AFB, Sacramento, Calif.; a grandson, Jack Edward McVickar.

Also surviving are three brothers and a sister: Malcolm McVickar of San Rafael, Calif., J. Stanley McVickar of Macomb, Robert McVickar of Momence, and Mrs. Jessie Broyles of Mt. Vernon.

Arrangements are incomplete, and will be announced by the Sivert
Funeral Home in Sumner.

The family requests that memorials be made to the cancer fund.

Leona F. Brunson, 95, of Lawrenceville, died Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 9, at Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 10, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Brunson was born on January 22, 1915, in Richland County, the daughter of Clyde Ross and Mary Ann Earnst Stallard.

She married Kenneth Brunson on November 22, 1944. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brunson was a bookkeeper for Illinois Gas Company for many years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Lawrenceville.

She is survived by a nephew, Harold Phillippe, and a niece, Helen White.

Mrs. Brunson was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brunson; a brother, Delbert Stallard; and a sister, Opal Phillipe.
