Warren Bull passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 after a long illness. He was 85.
Born April 7, 1922 he graduated school to join the Army in 1942.
After serving his term, he came home to Succasunna, and bought the "Bull Market" (a neighborhood super market) from his father. He then went into insurance and opened "The Bull Agency." His first wife, "Jean," passed away in 1970. He remarried five years later and moved to Florida. He always loved the Winter Park area (having been many times because his parents had a hotel there in the '50s to '60s). He and Ruth purchased a home in Longwood, and lived together for 30 years. She passed away in January 2004. His daughter, Candy, moved from New Jersey to Florida to care for him. He passed away at home, in no pain, and peacefully with his cat curled up in his arms.
He is survived by one daughter, Candace Hayes; one sister, Barbara Brown; a stepdaughter in Florida and her family, Lynn and Paul Voloshin and two grandchildren, Taryn, and Christopher. He is also survived by a stepson, Fred Kothe; stepdaughter, Elaine La Delfa; two sisters-in-law; four nieces; four nephews; seven grandnieces; and four grandnephews. In addition, his other daughter, "Trotsky the Cat," and his adopted daughter, Mary Huttner, survive.
He served in the Sons of the American Revolution. He was the first president in his Kiawanis Club, taught the Power Squadron and was a Mason. He was taken to Michigan Chapel Funeral Home for cremation and will be taken to Davis & Heppelwhite Funeral Home in Succasunna, where a graveside service will be held this spring. He was a gentleman, a joker, a wonderful father, and dad, and will sorely be missed. Love you, Daddy!
