Was the widow of the Rev. Thomas Cassad, who had a plantation at the foot of the mountains, near the New York state line in New Jersey.
Abigail Tingley, a daughter of Joseph and Christeen Tingley, was a widow of Rev Thomas Casad, and mother of Lydia, when she married Rev John Wintermote in 1811. The marriage with Rev Wintermote brought no additional children, but Abigail, as step-mother, raised at least three of Rev John Wintermote's children: Eliza, Fanny, and Charlotte, along with her Lydia.

Eliza Wintermote was a daughter of Rev John and Appolina (Ploney) Westfall, born in Wantage, New Jersey. She came with her family to Greenville, Darke County, in 1820 and married Hiram Dean (by her father, Rev John Wintermote) on May 27, 1824. Her sister Charlotte married Hiram's brother, John.
Hiram and Eliza had four children: Henry, Jane, John, and Benjamin Franklin. She died around the time of this last childbirth.
According to "The Wintermute Family History" Eliza's grave is marked by a rough stone (nothing written on it), near her father's plot. Will has her name as Eliza Dean.

Snell, Margaret Wintermote, daughter of John Wintermote, was born May the 24th 1792 in Sussex Co., New Jersey was married to Wm. W. Brown in 1811 and in 1816 moved to Fairfield, Green Co, Ohio. When her husband died in 1817 she with her three small chilren moved to Darke County and settled in Washington Township. In 1829 she was again maried to John Snell and continued to live in Darke County until June 1839 when she and her family moved to St. Claire Co. Mo. Here her second husband died, and in 1845 her son (H.M. Brown of Dayton, O.) brought her and her children back to Dayton where she lived sone time, when she again returned to Darke County and settled in Colesville, where she died April 23rd 1875, aged 82 years, 10 months and 30 days. Funeral sermon by Eld. H. Cole, after which her remains were buried in the Graveyard by the side of her father and 3 sisters. She had been a member of the Christian Church more than 20 years.
