Elsie Agatha Chase was born on 29 May 1906 in Oklahoma.1,2 She died on 1 April 2007, at age 100.1 She was buried in Fairfax Cemetery, Fairfax, Osage, Oklahoma.1
Elsie Agatha Chase was educated in Oklahoma A&M.1 Elsie was the fifth child of James William "Will" Chase and Martha Custis White Chase. She graduated from then-Oklahoma A&M and married Lester Kilpatrick. They lived in New Jersey and Virginia until retirement when they returned to Oklahoma. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son Kenneth. She would have celebrated her 101st birthday in less than two months. She loved to cook and entertain and was known for her gingerbread men cookies and her wise sayings. She taught for many years. The fun of being invited to her house for dinner was that you never knew who else she had invited, and it was sure to be an interesting evening. She was survived by two children Lester Louis and Maritha. Lester Louis died in July after Elsie's death in April, 2007.

Lettie was the youngest of the six children of Will and Martha Chase. She had two children, Jimmy Barnard and Janie Barnard Brewer. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Lee, Ward, Ray and Art, as well as her son Jimmy. Also buried in this cemetery plot are her parents (Will and Martha), her sister Elsie Kilpatrick and Elsie's husband Lester, and her nephew Lester L. Kilpatrick and Lester's wife Pat.

He attended Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State University) and went to work for the US Department of Agriculture. He became a specialist in grading and handling eggs. He and Elsie lived in New Jersey and Virginia all their lives until retirement then returned to Oklahoma. Lester was known for his very dry, witty humor. They had three children, Lester Louis, Kenneth and Maritha.

Lester Louis Kilpatrick was a Chemical Engineer/Nuclear Scientist in Dupont Chemical Corporation.3 Lester was the son of Lester Kilpatrick and Elsie Chase Kilpatrick. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M (OSU) and served as a 1st lieutenant and expert rifleman in the U.S. Army. Lester was a chemical engineer with DuPont in Kingston, NC and a nuclear scientist for Westinghouse at the Savannah River Plant, SC. He was a lifetime learner with hobbies in beekeeping, pottery, marksmanship, guitar, water skiing, camping and tennis. He was always curious to see what was over the next hill and not afraid to go down a muddy road. He is survived by four daughters, Laura Lea, Karen Lynn, Maritha Marie and Amy Susan and their families. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his wife Patrecia Ayers, and his brother Kenneth. Pat, who was from Oklahoma, was cremated on her death two years previously and her ashes were buried with Lester. They are buried in a plot with parents, grandparents and an aunt in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
