He was a member of Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra, and enjoyed camping as a former member of the Kanvas Krusiers Camping Club and the Royal Coachman Camping Club both of Palmyra. Surviving are three sons, Dale E. and wife Judy Snover of Annville, Glenn A. and wife Jane Snover of Palmyra, and David L. and wife Jodie Snover of Palmyra; seven grandchildren; brother Seth and wife Joyce Snover of Cape May, NJ; two sisters, Thirzah Reichert of Harrisburg and Sara Jane, wife of Daniel Grubb of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Snover and a sister Helen Brightbill. Funeral Tuesday at Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra. Interment in Mt. Annville Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News].

Surviving are her husband of 68 years Daniel B. Grubb; children Kenneth, husband of Patricia Grubb of Hershey and Linda, wife of Gary Mechtly of Erie; granddaughters Krista, wife of Darrin Mitchley and Heidi Mechtly; great grandsons Adonijah and Obadiah Mitchley; brother Seth Snover; and sister Thirzah Reichert.

She was also preceded in death by siblings Robert Snover, Helen Brightbill and Paul Snover.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the DiMatteo Worship Center of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Hanoverdale Cemetery, Hummelstown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund; Lebanon Valley Brethren Home; 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078.

William H. Wyckoff, 86, of 5925 W. M-18, Gladwin, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the Gladwin Area Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Gladwin County, Sept. 23, 1902, he had spent his lifetime here. Mr. Wyckoff was a carpenter and a life member of the Gladwin Masonic Lodge 397 F. & A.M.

Mr. Wyckoff and the former Beulah Snover were married Dec. 24,1927, in Flint. She preceded him in death May 17, 1941. He then married Gladys Pero Aug. 10,1944, in Gladwin.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, William R. of Gladwin: 4 daughters, Shirley Barbier of Swartz Creek, Mrs. Ralph (Norma) Rea of Roseville, Mrs. George (Gertrude) Waldeck of Clearwater, Fla. and Nancy Mawhorter of Gladwin; one brother, Fred of Mio; 2 sisters, Frances DeWitt of Houghton Lake and Julia Halstead of Albion; 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, John, Forrest, Alex and Maynard and 2 sisters, Gladys Davies and Daisey Wyckoff.

Services were held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Briggs officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery. A Masonic service was held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home by the Gladwin Lodge. Gladwin County Record dated 11-16/1988.
