He is survived by his wife; children, James (Betty) Baker of Broken Arrow, Okla., Paul Baker of Dryden, George (Yvonne) Baker of Metamora, Mary (Alan) Curtis of Oxford, Jean (Wayne) Martin of Imlay City, Joan (Neil) Wagner of Metamora, Lisa (Rick) Smith of Dryden, Sandy (Darren) Szlachta of Attica; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gilbert Baker.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lapeer County Medical Care Facility (Suncrest) or Dryden Wesleyan Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday (January 10, 2009) at Dryden Wesleyan Church. Pastor Nathan Bills officiated. Burial was in Dryden Center Cemetery.
