Her stone was broken in half when I visited. Here are the inscriptions:

Cornelius Garrison was born on 27 September 1756 in Alsace, France.1 He and Anna Maria (Mary) Snover were married on 11 January 1781. He died on 25 April 1825, at age 68, in Sugar Notch, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.2 He was buried in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover Green, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.2

Cornelius Garrison was born in Alsace, France in 1756. He came to America as a French soldier in our Revolutionary War and did not return to France at the end of the war in 1782. He married twice; first to Mary Snover (1758-1815 and second to Margaret ____ (1782-1822). He settled in Hanover on the Back Road at Sugar Notch and died their in 1825 when he was thrown out of the wagon he was driving and broke his neck.

His children were:

John (1784-1865), married Catherine (Kate) Mack (1784-1854); John lived in Hanover and Dorrance; he died in Dorrance; his children were: Cornelius, Rebecca (married Henry Burney) and Ziba.

Nancy, never married;

Jacob, married Rachel Rimer;

James, married Mary Wiggins. Jacob Garrison was born in Hanover; married Rachel Rimer; moved to the West in 1842. Their children: William; George (d. about 1829); Silas; Elizabeth - all moved West in 1842. Cornelius Garrison immigrated in 1776.3
