He was employed as custodian at the Warren County Courthouse,Belvidere,for 18 years,retiring in 1957,Prior to that he was employed by Alpha Portland Cement Co.,Martins Creek.Born in Richmond,Pa.,he was a son of the late Aaron K.and Sarah M.Dutt Snover.
A veteran of the U.S.Army,he served in France with the 78th Division of the 303rd Ammunition Train in Toul Sector,Mihicl Offensive and Meuse-Argonne.The oldest member of the United Methodist Church,Belvidere,he was a former treasure of the church Sunday School for 40 years.
He was past commander and 60-year member of American Legion Post 131,Belvidere;Warren County Voiture 650,40et8;Verterans of Wold War I,Barracks 0031,Washington:and Knights of Phythias 58,Belvidere.His wife,the former Ada S.Cool,died November,1978.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church,Belvidere,the Women's Society Christian Service of the church,the Friendship Class of the church,Unity Rebekah Lodge No.88 and American Legion Post No.131 Auxiliary.She was also a charter member of the Pythian Aisters Lodge No.32 and a pianist for that lodge and Unity Rebekah Lodge No.88.
She and her husband,George C.Snover,would have celebrated their 58th wedding on Nov. 24.Surviving in addition to her husband Belvidere;two grandsons;three step-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grand-daughter.
