3 She was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Annette Bull Fitchett, 90, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday morning, March 4, 2008, at Savannah Square Retirement Center. She was born on October 22, 1917, in the Old Savannah Hospital to Mary Emmalien Allen Bull and Ernest Coren Bull. Her parents were the founders and owners of a business named for her - Annette's Dairy. She was a graduate of Pape School and the College of William and Mary, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. She was presented at the 1938 Christmas Cotillion. Mrs. Fitchett was a communicant of the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament. While living in Savannah she was a member of the Froebel Circle and Mary Maclean Visiting Nurses. In 1942 she married Major William Howell MacKrell of the United States Army, who preceded her in death in 1970. She later married Walter Reid Fitchett on August 18, 1987, and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Fitchett died on March 2, 2005. In Raleigh, she was a member of the Samuel Johnston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and The Twentieth Century Book Club. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, W. Thomas MacKrell. Surviving are her children, Kathleen M. Watson and her husband, Roger, of Aurora, Oregon, Mary M. Saunders Davis and her husband, James, of Savannah, Georgia, Michael B. MacKrell and his wife, Ethel, of Laguna Beach, California, and Timothy G. MacKrell and his wife, Nancy, of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Coren B. Kittredge and her husband, Bill, of Yorba Linda, California, and Dr. Mari Bull of LaVerne, California; ten grandchildren, S. Joseph Watson, Kimberly W. Montalvo and her husband, Jesse, Susan F. Saunders, W. Edward Saunders, Jr. and his wife, Alexee, Mary Allen Saunders, W. Thomas MacKrell, Haley Pendergrass, Pearson Pendergrass Jennifer M. Covington and her husband, James, and Elizabeth N. MacKrell; two great-grandchildren; a cousin, Barbara A. Harkins; a niece, Coren K. Ross and her husband, Rusty, of Savannah, Georgia, and Reid Fitchett and his wife, Donna, of Carey, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o'clock Friday morning at the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning at the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament conducted by The Reverend Jeremiah J. McCarthy. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
