Edward (Ed) Vancura Hunt was a Farmer/ Miller in Flour Mill.2,6 E.V. Hunt, aged 76, a resident of Wyalusing his entire life, was found dead in his home on Marsh street, Wyalusing, where he lived alone, on Thursday morning. Neighbors failing to see Mr. Hunt for a couple of days on Thursday became alarmed and forced an entrance to the home.

Mr. Hunt was found dead, lying on his bed partially disrobed. No inquest was held as it was thought that death had resulted from natural causes, probably a stroke. Mr. Hunt had complained of not feeling well for several days.

Mr. Hunt's wife, Elizabeth Chase Hunt, died three years ago. One brother Samuel Hunt of Johnson City and several nieces and nephews survive. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 with service in Wyalusing Presbyterian church, Interment will be at Camptown.
