Emma A. Aseltine was born on 28 November 1851 in Vevey, Ingham, Michigan.1,2,3,4,5 She and Aaron Garrison were married on 2 January 1867 in Ingham, Ingham, Michigan.1 She died on 29 March 1918, at age 66, in Vevey, Ingham, Michigan.1,4 She was buried on 1 April 1918 in Fairview Cemetery (Lot 211, Row 6, Section 2D), Dansville, Ingham, Michigan.4
Emma A. Aseltine was a Farmer.3 Mrs. Emma A. Garrison, aged 66 years, passed away at her home on the Garrison farm near this city last Friday, after an illness of only four days. Her entire life was spent in Ingham county, and for twenty years she lived upon the farm, where she died.

Funeral service were held at the Dansville M.E. church Monday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Maxwell of the Mason M. E. church officiating. She is survived by eight children, Mrs. Geo. Turnbull, Mrs. Orsa White, Mrs. Frank Steinhoff, Mrs. Charles Bassett, Mrs. Christopher Rhorabacker, Orla Garrison and Roy Garrison, all of Mason or vicinity and Mrs. Myron Reed of Saskatechawan, Canada. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister and three brothers.

Emma A,. Aseltine, the eldest daughter of Peter and Maria Aseltine was born Novemeber 28, 1851, in Ingham county, where she spent her entire life. In 1866 she was united in marriage to Aaron Garrison, who passed away in 1894. Nine children were born to this union, all of whom survive her except one son Charles who died in infancy. About thirty years ago, she united with the Methodist Protestant church in Dansville. She leaves a host of friends to survive her.

John Isaac Bravender was a Farmer.2 According to the 1850 US Census and trees.ancestry.com, Isaac Bravender was born in Ireland in 1811. All of the US Censuses that his children are in say that the father was from England. Isaac bought land in Ingham County on Aug. 2, 1837. At the time, he was living in Washtenaw County.

Isaac was married to Rachel Maria Garrison in probably about 1836. They had at least 8 children including the following: Mary Ellen, Jerusha, Pelina, Alfred Isaac, William, Caroline Elizabeth, Amaziah, Hilliard, possibly Rachel.

Isaac's gravestone says that he died on Dec. 10, 185? (cannot read last numeral - looks like a 1 but is probably a 4). It also says that he died at age 60. This may be erroneous. According to the 1850 census, he was born in 1811. The cemetery record says that Isaac was born in 1845. This also must be an error. He is buried on lot 21, a few lots to the right of his wife Maria and son Amaziah. Hilliard, Bertha, and Cecil Bravendar are buried a few rows up from Isaac.
