Mrs. Ida E. Garrison was born in De Kalb County, Aug 9, 1866 and at the time of her death was 46 years, 5 months and 22 days old. She moved to this township with her parents many years ago; she united in marriage to Charles Crow about twenty years ago and one child Mrs. Hazel Egold survives.
The deceased has not been in good health for many months, and a few weeks ago she was taken to Fort Wayne for an operation but she was too ill to withstand the shock andit was not done well; she became worse and wanted to be taken home and her request was complied with.
One brother, Romanzo Garrison survives with the grief stricken husband and daughter. the funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the U.B. church; interment in Eel River Cemetery. Rev. McCloe offiicated. the Truth begs to offer its sincere sympathy to the bereaved friends and relatives.

1 Charles Crow Dies at Home of Daughter- Aged man who spent entire life in Whitney County passes away from pneumonia which follwed cerebral hemorrhage.
Pneumonia, preceded bya a cerebral hemorrhage, Saturday afternoon proved fatal for Charles Crow, 79, a lifelong resident of Whitney county. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arnie Egolf, in Thorncreek township, with whom he lived since the death of his wife in 1933.
Funeral services were jeld at 2 o'clock this afternoon for the aged farmer at the Thorncreek Bethel Church of God, with the Rev. John W. Jones, pastor of the Milford Church of God, officiating. Burial was made at the Eel River cemetery,
Until Jan. 19, Mr Crow had been assisting as substitute fireman at the Thorncreek Center school. On that day he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, and pneumonia developed a short time later.
Born in Smith Township Oct. 9, 1860, to Mr. and Mrs. James Crow, he lived there until 1933. He was married to Ida Garrison, of Smith township, in 1888, who passed away in 1913. Mr. Crow the married Edna Terwilliger in 1919, Churubusco, who died in 1933.
The last of a family of 11 brothers and sisters, Mr. Crow is survived by Mrs. Egolf, three grandchildren, and three great-grnchildren.
The body was brought to the Demoney Funeral Home in this city, where it remained until the time of the funeral this afternoon.

Mrs. Hazel C. Egolf, 70, died at 5:00 p.m. Monday at the Whitley County Hospital. She had been a patient since Thursday.
She was born in Smith Township July 20, 1894 to Charles and Ida Garrison Crow. Her husband, Arnie Egolf, died in Decemeber 1962.
She was a member of the Church of God in Thorncreek township and its Missionary Circle.
Survivng are two sons, Everett of Columbia City and Glen of Greenfield; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Weisweber, South Whitley; five grandchildren and four great-grandhildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Mill Funeral Home in South Whitley. Internment will be in the South Whitley cemetery.
Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today.
