Henrietta T. "Pete" Reeves, 79, of 2161 Geiger Road died Wednesday at Tompkins Community Hospital, Ithaca.
Mrs. Reeves was a native of Genoa and a life resident of southern Cayuga County.
Surviving are her husband, Lester E.; five sons, Frank Stockton of Mena, Ark., Gerry Stockton of Prairieville, La., Terry Stockton of Scipio Center, Timothy Reeves of Moravia and Kevin Reeves of Venice Center; two daughters, Carol Horne of Searcy, Ark., and Dixie Prince of Venice Center; a sister, Geneva Reese of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be in Genoa Rural Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Shurtleff Funeral Home, Genoa, has charge of arrangements.

Mary Arlene Keeney, 84, of Genoa, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca. Arlene was born April 1, 1931 in Genoa, a daughter of the late Lee and Nina (Lewis) Reeves, and was a long time Genoa resident.
Arlene was an avid gardener, and she enjoyed canning, sewing, quilting, and playing cards as hobbies. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and everyone cherished her apple pies and potato salads.
She is survived by her seven children, Thomas Keeney, Linda Moon (Milton), Mary Malseed (James), JoAnn Tyrrell (Ed), Donna Wheeler (Brad), and Jim Keeney (Cheryl), all of Genoa, and Betty Post of Victor, numerous gr and children, great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, a sister, Beatrice Krause of Poplar Ridge; brothers, Coral "Mick" Reeves (Carol) of Genoa, Edward (Carrie) of Lansing and James (Lois) of Greene, and many nieces and nephews.
Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Claude James Keeney, in 1975.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday (November 1 4) at the United Church of Genoa. Interment will be private, and there are no calling hours.
